Allan MacDonald of Knock, "Some hints regarding the dress, customs and manners of the Gaelti, thrown together, loosely, by an officer, on board a transport in Chebucto Harbour, before Hallifax, Nova Scotia, 1776". Written apparently with the aim of submitting it for publication in the Nova Scotia Gazette, in response to comments found in no. 297 of this paper.
