TALES; VERSE
18th cent. Paper. 19 × 15 cms. 124 pp. numbered 1-124 in 19th (?) cent. Scribe: Concubhar Ua Lunín, (Cornelius Lunin), 1711-12 (pp. 89, 111, colophon p. 119). Other names of the family in the manuscript: 'James Lunin', p. Ill; 'Thomas Lunin' (faded), p. 124, the latter possibly 'Thomas' (p. 67) who apparently wrote the date '1712' and inserted a missing letter in the text on p. 67.
Bound in half-leather with 'Rossmore Library Monaghan' in ink and Rossmore book-plate affixed inside front cover; '130' in ink and a slip bearing same number (signed 'O'Reilly') affixed to p. 1; '49' on p. 3 inner margin. There is much discolouring on leaves front and back; edges of first leaf frayed causing loss of text.
